François (Frank) Gautreau, Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away at the age of 82, surrounded by his family after a long illness.

Born on May 18, 1928 in Pré-d’en-Haut, he was the son of the late Anthony and Dora (Gould) Gautreau. François was employed by and volunteered for the Pré-d’en-Haut parish for many years. He was also a school bus driver for School District 1 for 41 years.

He is survived his wife, Thérèse, of Dieppe and two children, Carmelle (André) Surette, Fall River, NS and Claude (Stella) of Pré-d’en-Haut; four grand-children, Mélanie, Brigitte, Rémi and Cédric; two brothers, Camille and Laurie, and five sisters, Prima (late Siméon) LeBlanc, Althea, (late Yvon) Dupuis, Lilianne (Ernest) Hébert, Doris Léger and Marguerite (Léonard) Gionet, one sister-in-law, Dorilla, Dieppe, and many nieces and nephews. François was pre-deceased by his brother Fred Gautreau and his sister Lorraine Gaudet.

Visitations will be held at Dupuis, Funeral Home and Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame de l’Annonciation Church, in Pré-d’en-Haut on Friday, March 11 at 7 pm.
